I haven’t sat down to type a lot for a good long time. No writing, no coding, no nothin’. Mostly busy with house stuff, or taking a break from doing house stuff.
So, I’m doing a bit of work for the new Austin roller derby site – all sorts of background drama that I’m not even going to try to get into here – and writing the first Perl that I’ve written pretty much since a month or two before we moved. Okay, a little thing here and there, but nothing that required typing for more than a minute straight. My wrists are all stiff and hurty now, after like 30 minutes. Decrepit and out of practice. Bah.

Have you hit your thumb with a hammer yet?
We got the fake wall/bookshelf project mostly wrapped up. It matches the rest of the room almost perfectly, and has two bookshelves and a bar built into it. Tonight, we pick up a futon frame and piece it together.
Party over the weekend to celebrate the bar gettin’ put in – next project is the dj booth.
Once the booth is in, I can work on the computer setup and hopefully get some pix.
